My design of the "NO" patchwork is rooted in conversations about consent and the socialization that causes such difficulty for many women to say NO to almost anything. I started making the patchworks after the 2016 election of Donald Trump; relating political strong-arming to nonconsensual acts of aggression. This piece is part of an ongoing series.
